Intertwined

I cannot imagine a me without you,
Nor a future where I stand alone.

In my dreams, in every scattered plan,
I see us – always us.

My soul clings to yours,
My body refuses to leave your side.
My hand feels at home in yours.

Our spirits chose each other long ago,
Deciding we were always meant to be… us.
