Good Night Concussion

Good Night Concussion

Sleep consumes me –
Like a warm blanket,
It soothes me,
Rocks me,
Like a sweet lullaby.

Time does not exist here.
Worry does not exist here.
Concern does not exist here.

My mind,
My body,
My thoughts –
All swallowed by darkness.

They don’t complain.
They don’t argue.
They let go,

Drifting
Without fear,
And without struggle.
