My Healthcare Nightmare

Closed.
No Vacancy.
Crowded.

You look around –
Bodies everywhere –
Injured, dying, dead.

You search for help,
Begging for assistance,
Screaming for relief,
Pleading for mercy.

But there is no one.
They are all gone –
Out of sight,
Out of reach.

The cries, the screams, the sobs –
But no one is there.

We saw it coming –
The collapse.
We saw the warning signs,
But they were ignored.

Not a concern then,
Just an exaggeration, you said.

But now, it’s your turn.
Now, you lie dying,
Begging for the help you once denied.

But help is no longer there –
All gone in the chaos,
Lost in the rubble
Of a broken system.
