The Silence of Dismissal
We call for help,
But it falls on deaf ears.
The shortages are real,
The stress is unbearable.
We ask for support,
But all we hear is,
“You got this.”
We are drowning.
We are critical.
But you don’t listen.
Our voices grow hoarse,
And our bodies get tired.
Yet you keep dismissing us.
We are not invisible.
We are not expendable.
But you treat us like we are.
And still, we wait.
But nothing changes.
